I have bought this adapter to an additional Ethernet port on the Raspberry Pi. Under the Distribution Archlinux the adapter works for me without problems. Data throughput I have not really tested because to me the only Internet traffic running over diesesn NIC and therefore large amounts of data are available. However, it can be assumed that at the Raspberry USB bus even through the internal NIC (which is also connected via USB) is heavily loaded. It would be nice even an LED indicating the activity to which was but probably saved, but the NIC also works directly to the USB port and does not need a powered hub. That leaves you only to say: For me, the adapter works as intended and therefore gets 5 stars
