"Live Fields" are 75 minutes of brilliant world tour in 1999, was a milestone for TOTO: finally the cult rockers were reunited with original vocalist Bobby Kimball. And the total of only the second live release of the quintet from California is finally the first official with the namesake of the band (Kimball is actually Toteaux). According much joy radiates from the band here. The great strength of "Live fiels" is the surprising alternative song choices. With the exception of Stimmungsankurblers "Rosanna" has dispensed en masse by Mega played hits like "Africa" or "Hold the Line" in favor of true gems from the early days of the band like "mama" and "You are the Flower". These are part of an extensive acoustic part that brings a wonderful feeling in the concert. Even "The Road Goes On" from 1996er- album "Tambu" waived electric guitar and exudes through the fabulously responsive audience real goose bumps atmosphere. From the 1999 album of the reunited band are with the driving and addictive "Caught In The Balance" and the fantastically under the skin "Better World" two strong numbers on the setlist. And with "Goodbye Girl" and "White Sister" is the handset to benefit of classics and true gems in Toto repertoire. This includes dating back to the 1979, in 1998 on the album "XX" the 20-year band anniversary and published here played with an ingenious Groove "Tale of a Man". The detail failed instrumental live performances do not seem to be of this world. Toto enjoy themselves at the highest level with infinite coolness. Whether it's rock or jazzy, acoustic or heavy to the point - "Live Fields" play Toto their strengths fully out. How to convince Toto with their legendary repertoire here on stage is no longer to beat!
