Memoria was for me therefore a must buy. Before I talk about the game itself, are two important aspects in advance pushed:
- The bad reviews of his predecessor had borne fruit, Memoria is Steam-free
- The representation of the character has been improved (more flowing movements and significantly better lip synchronization).
Now for the adventure itself: "Memoria" is actually their own way and have somewhere to be settled with a new main character in Aventurien. The connection to the predecessor but is well managed and credible Geron is integrated into the new story. His personal history (Nuri) but is actually not telling but serves only as motivation for him to participate in the new adventure. According to Nuri not developed as I would wish it Geron and the fairy themselves. I thought that was a shame, and has left a slightly bad taste.
The new story takes place both in Now-Andergast and in different places of Vergangehenheit. The past is alive again and told Rübckblenden describes the history of the second main character, the outcast princess Sadya who wants to fulfill her destiny in the battle over the allegorical desert. The course has the stuff to a true epic, and this promise is fulfilled. Between sunken Mughal tombs, lost magician councils and floating fortresses remains enough time to send the Princess on her journey through beautiful landscapes. The adventure has almost two finals, to find a battle in the allegorical desert, in the flashbacks to an end as well as the final of the here and now, where the events of that time with today are connected. The epic finale actually I found relatively unspectacular (less what the story rather than physically incorporated therein puzzles were to blame), the second final was all the more successful, really surprising but this thoroughly plausible. Really great!
The puzzles I found a whole as opposed to most other total here rather worse than its predecessor. While there were some very nice and successful head nuts, but quite a lot of puzzles, where the solution is actually quite clear to the necessary information, but only again afterwards must gather together by running around. Nevertheless, even if the mystery was me designing Satinav chains more, the mystery remains still managed. Oh, and Daedelic has built a real labyrinth, and a way that you simply can not co-sign a "plan of destiny". Certainly not for everyone, but I have felt back takes me back to my childhood, when I had dug myself for the first time by the "source of death" - gorgeous! :)
As extras successes have been refitted. Although a few are self-goers who are collecting definitely, a few are easily earned by briefly stores before obvious story relevant branch and then even the one that once selects the other decision, before the story short time together runs later. But a few achievements still await discovery and make you want to look for other solutions to.
CONCLUSION: With Memoria Daedelic has again done a clean job. Minor technical deficiencies have been rectified, fortunately it has waived this time on Steam. Although MEMORA actually tells its own story, the story writer sent them interwoven with Geron's personal history and you. All the time a clear Aventurien feeling Especially the final Twist true really great. For five star Memoria is not enough for me yet because I puzzle design did succeed, however, was being noticeably weaker than in the first Tel. On the other hand - and this is now really absolutely subjective - but has done something moody me more history to Nuri. Because I would have liked something else.
