The boom is well made for the price.
The handle grip is large (for large hand).
The strap also quite large.
The size of the pole is: folded 40 Cm, fully extended 115 cm.
It weighs 220G without any accessories.
It does not spin, it does not flinch, even folded up.
The clamping rings are plastic, but easily maneuverable.
All the fixing system is made of plastic but solid air, it will be seen over time.
The handle and its base are plastic.
Under the handle there is a threaded hole to put a camera, compact or SLR, with an adjustment screw or even the GoPro.
The tubes are aluminum I think (given the weight).
The accessory for the remote control is gopro rubber (there is no remote control is only one case), with its Velcro. I thought it would be plastic, it seems fragile to do in time.
A screw for GoPro and a base, are also included.
A test with a Samsung S3 => impeccable! Once the programmed timer, parfais!
The smartphone maintains shoe is not bad, plastic, max opening 8 cm (attention to edges that prevent putting a smartphone or a thick shell). It is topped with thick moss on the sides which grip the phone.
The small convex mirror on top of the pole is too small I find it difficult to be able to see something at least when the boom is unfolded at maximum, otherwise it is true that it is practical in small boom length!
