Open Road (Audio CD)

Customer Review

Finally a Bryan Adams single reappears in our own production. Some say yes to him, he would be a real workaholic - but this is true: He makes his songs as good as they can be just. This is him once again succeeded with "Open Road". The intro reminds a little of "Run To You" from the Pops album "Reckless", but it has Bryan no need to copy only tasteless. Instead, the song will convey a deeper message: It is not about simply wandering cruising by car, but by dismantling borders, mobility and freedom versus bureaucracy, as you can see in the video of "Open Road". It was nice working with metaphors that do not stand out at first hearing as a. However, "Open Road" has already recalled some Drive whose character of the good old "Reckless" time. The two b-side songs on the CD are worth mentioning: "Blessing in Disguise" is a cool rock and rollers, who personally even almost better than I like the music and determined on the B-stage even has its grand entrance , "Friday Night in London" is a feel-good rocker, who is producing neat, but of course no longer large stands after the previous two firecrackers in the eye or ear. If the upcoming album "Room Service" can keep this level, it is certainly great. That said, I'm looking forward to the tour in Germany in November / December. Keep on rockin '!
