Yeezus lives!

Who Kanye West does not like, will hate him for "Yeezus". Those who appreciate him as an artist who provokes by its consistently enforced own style, will recognize the work as just a worthy successor of his previous albums.

Already the opener "On Sight" makes it absolutely clear what is involved in the album. Kanye himself between the disturbing sound and the hard hitting lyrics is no room for compromise. The text of serving as Hook Samples brings this to the point: ". He'll give us what we need / It may not be what we want"
After more charts-oriented acting "Black Skinhead" and the gloomy megalomaniac "I Am A God" it goes on to the next highlight of the album: New Slaves. Again the sound is merciless and accusing, just like the text that deals with the issue of racism, an issue which appears since the beginning of Mr. West's career at regular intervals. What underlines the unconventional character of the plate, the fact that you can see only on closer listening the songs that R'n'B flyer Frank Ocean here in the last 30 seconds has a guest appearance.
Meet for "Hold My Liquor" with the guests Chief Keef and Justin Vernon (known as a singer of Bon Iver) of two worlds that could not be more and still work well together.
The way of sampling in "Blood on the Leaves" and "Bound 2" is again typical Kanye and gives the impression that he remains true to his roots, despite all the wild experiments. Although the tracklist with 10 titles is a bit sparse, but I have the songs, with the exception of end it up, well-liked.

Another point to be at "Yeezus" should not neglect is the (almost nonexistent) Cover. As a package of audio medium serves only a transparent jewel case with a red sticker. The minimalist artwork represents the concept of the album: No embellishments, no distraction, there is one alone, what's inside.

Kanye West is known to blend borders and to create new, what is it definitely succeeded with his new album. In an interview with the New York Times, he talks about his influences for this album, ranging from French architecture up to Chicago's house music of the 80s. As mentioned at the beginning, this album will make at Western critics for nervous breakdowns, while it offers fans the opportunity to see Kanye from another musical side. Personally, I count myself among the latter and may be due to its recommend this album highly enough.
