The manual is, however, turned out very well and in sufficient detail, so that even technically unexperienced can handle it. Who can use / program a kitchen radio, also creates this. In a review below someone complains about the impossible operating way - which is definitely not the case. A look at the manual helps!
o Operating on battery that can be charged overnight in the day would have been nice. Not everyone has an electrical outlet within range of a child's bed.
o quite high-priced. However, these are also an absolute niche product in perfect processing, which should not be forgotten. I have also seen an alarm clock with a monkey up and close your eyes. But since one does not see in the dark, making the monkey, and the child just it can not read a clock, to determine that the time goes by, I decided consciously against it. I also wanted to save only the nearly 40, as I have coupled a night light on a timer with the appropriate times to me. However, I was woken in the night with the note: "Dad, the clock is broken - the light does not go on." So the child must see that what happens.
- No 24-hour mode to the imposable time. Something I find just plain annoying in an otherwise thoughtful product. The 24-hour mode is not hardware, but software issue. - The sleep cycle has to be started manually, so that the remaining time can be calculated. I would have found it good if you could program a fixed bedtime, then the child would not only see when it's time to get up, but also when it's time to listen to the mattress. Most children go anyway always at the same time to go to bed. Even better: the device can be a self-selecting. Also just a programming work. This one would be the nap function can save from my perspective. Who reserves in the short period of time even eye on the clock, sleeping anyway, and needs ergo also no alarm clock :)
Overall a thoroughly enjoyable product with small Beautiful unit errors. I would recommend it to all parents who regularly find themselves in the morning by 5 clock Lego and Playmobil play in the nursery, and the patience enough to wean his child this sleep pattern. Total 1 star deduction because of sloppy programmed software.

The clock has done exactly what they promised. Apart from a few small setbacks, we can now at the free days 1 - sleep 1.5 hours longer!
Even the occasional fall from the shelf has survived the clock.
The only thing I would have still desired, a mains-free operation overnight would have been because I did not like clutter in the nursery.
