In the following review I'm going to pull a given point on the following comparisons headphones: AKG K518 LE headphones green
+ Both headphones really have a very clear and rich sound, I'll call it, bass without "fat" this dull sounding
+ Sound at Sony in direct comparison a mu rich / fat
+ Really loud -> you can hear from its normal environment (on the train, road traffic, etc.) nothing
+ Cables only on one side -> Setting up a lot easier than with AKG
+ By flat cable Verhäddern almost impossible -> cable breakage is prevented
+ By unilateral cable you need not think twice about where the left and right, also "L" and "R" are also clearly visible on the back (see photo)
Angled jack plug +, resulting in lower "level" (see photo)
+ Klinkestecker- "housing" is not entirely narrow, but only on the last 2mm for iPod (with Bumper, Case, etc.) is tapered (see photo) -> more stable impression
+ Collapsible, thereby really small and fits here Slappa Hardbody Pro Headphone Case Black pure
+ The Größenverstellbügel snaps firmly, is very stable and has on the side engraved numbers than setting levels (see photo)
+ Pressure on the ears, although after about 1-2 hours there, but bearable - similar to AKG
+ Overall very valent impression and stable -> better than AKG
+ Subjectively: very visually appealing
A disadvantage have the Sony headphones, however:
- The screening of the sounds to the outside is almost zero, here points clearly AKG
So if you like to house loud music with headphones and / or his fellow man does not want to annoy, which should better stay away from Sony and resort to AKG.
All other Sony MDRV55R DJ headphones are warmly recommended. The 30 difference worth it.
