I switched from a Samsung Galaxy S3 LTE. The first big difference is (fortunately) processing. Finally this Plastikbomber go! The second different style is the battery life: This phone holds already significantly longer than the Galaxy S3 LTE. When it comes to functionality and speed I'm done positively. Granted: In the beginning I was so not at all clear. The switch from Android to Windows Phone was very difficult. But after some practice and a lot of work to the most now explained to me by itself. Especially the camera, it did to me. Now I can see the famous picture quality of Lumias finally itself confirm: That's really impressive for such a thing ... Of course, Klein can not compete in terms of handling and quality with a nice DSL-R, but for a cell phone that is really a great performance!
However, a star I pull off, because the smart phone has two quirks that bother me but unfortunately: As would be once the missing sync application for the PC. So a proper suite does not exist and I find that very unfortunate. Windows and Office have all somehow and irgendwoe hidden on board; Yes - But I do not honestly gessagt too complicated. Einne really nice clear Suite with all functions incl. Fuse and so would be great. The second negative point is in my eyes the music player on your phone: Just awful! Unfortunately, there is no real viable alternative, such as power amp for Android.
My conclusion: Nokia and Microsoft have since tinkered something nice, but to me, unfortunately, three bugs too severe significant than that I could give more stars:
- Flickering display:
In 2G / Edge reception unfortunately the display falckert very strong. Nokia justified this by saying that the cell phone reception is poor frantically trying to get a higher reception power, which then results in significantly higher power consumption. This indifference is probably cause this flickering. That to me is a strange statement and not a solution.
- Volume is constantly on its own back to 50% down.
Nokia it means in relation to my hearing certainly good, but it just is not annoying animal that the phone always is independent of the app used the opinion, having to dictate to me what I must Unfd what. I listen to music via my bluetooth headphones (Sony MDR1RBT) and usually because the volume. On mobile I eingetsellt always 100%. That really bugs me. I like to decide myself, what I want to do. I need the phone is not to be dictated to, as loud as I there hiring.
- The Office is contained I honestly too limited. Operation acts immature, because too many functions are very cumbersome or impossible to reach. I also find it annoying that no copy and paste into the password-protected documents - function is available. In documents without a password, however this is not a problem.
My conclusion: A beautiful phone. Actually. But the software still has some deficiencies, where Nokia should work urgently. I wait times on Windows 10 ...
