First Impression:
The two containers mainly of glass containers make a good quality impression. Advantages of smoothie-container, here the blade unit via a thread can simply unscrew and use it for other beverages, as well as easy to clean. The cutter unit is on the other hand when the glass container is not unscrewed, this makes the cleaning of the device more difficult. The mechanics (gear unit) of both blade units are made of hard rubberized plastic, the mechanics should really once terminals are the rubber slightly and not break immediately. Metal parts were unfortunately not used, probably due to the Korrisionsgefahr. The cover of the Mix & Go is at first glance very convenient, it can be really easy to use up and holds tight. A rubber strap allows it to create a small opening for drinking. The main unit of the package is of course the Mixstation which houses the motor, this also looks beautiful from plain, the brushed aluminum casing like me and looks quality.
The manual is very easy to understand, several times the reader is informed of the recipes on the Internet portal. A QR code is also printed on the front panel.
Commissioning:
Of course need before you can start with the smoothie mixes the ingredients are filled into the container. To this end, the blade unit must be unscrewed and screwed back after Zutateneinfüllung. Then apply the container is plugged into the blender, a small arrow on the blade unit and in the blender are selected.
Only when the container is properly engaged, the mixer can be turned on. Due to the high weight of the glass container, a locking is not necessary.
The mixer has 4 settings and speeds, which can be set via a wheel pommel, rotate through:
O = switched off
I = 1st gear speed
II = 2-speed gear
P = 3. speed gear
As you can see in my functional test video my fruit pieces were transformed in just a few seconds into porridge in 1st gear.
The P mode is secured by a spring and must be left when pressed desired.
In this mode, the meter turns really very fast and should be operated over a longer period, as the engine to warm up.
If the smoothie reaches the desired consistency, the mixer on state "O" has to be switched and the Behäter be disengaged. Subsequently, the meter unit can unscrew and screw on the Go-cover. The lid has a carrying handle and a rubber flap to drink. Important is of course that the cover ring is pressed against the mixing process on the container, this has a rubber gasket and has to be pressed vigorously. One should also take care that the pour spout is covered. Later other ingredients can be added through this cover ring yet. the small enclosed measuring cup / lid can then just hang in the cover ring, the Mixbehäter is dense and directed no contamination in the kitchen at.
Again, the ice was decomposed already in the first gear in a few seconds, and was subsequently removed from the container. Most ice was in Behäterboden, on the blade, and therefore could be found quite difficult.
Let it not too long cruschen, otherwise you will take CrushedIce only a puddle.
Conclusion:
Space-saving, functional, stable, inexpensive.
The Severin SM 3737 blender comes with all sorts of accessories and great recipe ideas to make the same desire for more. Both blades cut my ingredients even in the lowest speed range very quickly, the result could convince me and my friends. Only the many plastic components disturb the otherwise very high-quality appearance of chiq'en Alumixers. The opening of the Go-container should be changed, the rubber flap is here rather unfavorable. In summary, a modern mixer with many uses.
