The album of black metal orchestra Haggard, "Eppur Si Muove", is an absolute masterpiece. Every song is unique, sometimes with more, sometimes with less black- and death metal elements. The orchestra instrumental really done commendable precision work, what we expect from them, yes, but the Vocal on this album I was really blown away: Asis Nasseri Grunts hew fully in, the sopranos sound as if her vocal cords were made of glass, and we get to hear the voices of two tenors for the first time, are easy to melt away. So much for the general the plate. My personal recommendation song on the album is number three, "Per Aspera Ad Astra". Initially, a large-scale strings array is paired with bombastic guitars, whereupon the subsequent grunts and growls fit perfectly. The following is a calmer passage with two sopranos, a brief comment by Asis Nasseri gegrunteter and suddenly you find yourself anywhere on the strings floating, along with the clear, young voice of the tenors. The song is built quite long and about with this scheme. Black Metal and classical music are perfectly combined especially here, and it sounds magical. Haggard has its own style and is understood very well how loyal Metal hearts who do not like it quite as primitive, to enchant you time and again.
