The Picture in Picture (PIP) function here means: the unit running as a monitor for external sources, it can be seen simultaneously in the lower left corner Freeview TV.
There is a sound input (Computer -> Monitor), but not out (audio - out), so you can connect any external speakers or headphones for TV reception.
Caution: for the digital connection of a computer with a DVI port or DisplayPort port on the monitor (HDMI) are needed a DVI to HDMI cable or DisplayPort-HDMI cable or adapter appropriate. The monitor also has analog connections (VGA D-SUB DE-15, Scart, RCA component video).
You can monitor for the various inputs (RGB, HDMI, DVB-T, AV1, AV2, Component) set separately (brightness, contrast, ....). This should also do, because the defaults do not convince (eg for bright and contrast-free TV picture). Simply select the source, adjust settings ready.
If the settings once made correctly, the monitor provides a sharp, high-contrast image with good black levels for all sources.
