So first I must say that Indica really one of my favorite bands is. Of course I was very excited about the new album, because the wait was so enormously long and I could not wait .... And we'll, I've "Shine" now a couple of times consulted and now made me a persöhnliches judgment. Bad this disc is definitely not, in fact, these are a really good rock / pop album, but .... at Valoissa, Kadonnut Putarha and Ikuinen Virta (my 3 favorite persöhnlichen Indica discs) it really is enough now not quite approach. Why is that? Well, very simple: indica have always triggered in me a feeling that can not be put into words really. A mixture of raw schwingter merriment, melancholy and an absolutely beautiful, magical and yet mystical and menacing mood, some of which ran down your spine me the creeps. I was mentally somewhere always leaping a not any ambush Finnish trolls or witches in a fairy-tale dark enchanted forest, where you had to be careful;) Even the rather lively cheerful songs like Scarlett or Ihmisen Lento from the first album had this magical and fairytale atmosphere and this Independent Feeling that I love so much to Indica. Well .... This very special feeling I'm missing on "Shine" unfortunately a little bit. It does not always have to be melancholic and gloomy, but a smidgen has happened wall with this disc already in radio-friendly rock Pop Mucke. Although this aspect is not now as extreme as some other critics contend, in my opinion. Because nevertheless it still is in "Shine" is a, yes, very good rock album, of which one still knows that it comes from Indica, and this really hurts anyone. The only song which I would argue 100 percent, either chart fit and intended for the general public is Definit meybe, which comes just too sweet and well-behaved, and me more reminiscent of a normal Lillifee schoolgirl pop song. The best and most beautiful songs on the album are the sublime opener Monuntain made of stone, the rock tangy Goodbye to Berlin, Uncouvered that really has a super nice chorus and the cool kids in the playground. Alein for this really very good numbers it has persöhnich worth buying the album for me. The rest falls somewhere in the area well to ok. So really disappointed I was not, and I'm really happy "Shine" to have in my CD collection. I hope the next time simply something more mystical romance feeling for which the band was not actually known. But otherwise everything is still fairly alright. for this reason .... 4 of 5 stars Many greetings Valtiel
