After we have made an extremely negative experience with our first fully automatic coffee machine (DeLonghi ESAM 5600.S EX2) and its producer and no law-Premium model (only the small Jura ENA 9) could correspond to our claim to prepare all coffee-milk drinks at a push of a button , we headed to the added arduous search for an appropriate alternative.
Since the devices of only two known to us to date alternative manufacturer Bosch and Siemens initially only visually did not meet us, we finally became aware after long browsing the Internet by accident on the Melitta Caffeo CI.
When we then informed us closer to this machine, convinced us this already at this time by your actually logical and self-evident, compared with the industry giants DeLonghi and Jura, however, groundbreaking innovations, which is why we ultimately decided without further ado for a purchase.
Below is a brief overview of the advantages and disadvantages of Melitta Caffeo CI.
CONTRA:
(-) In terms of design could Melitta rework a little

(+) Hose for milk supply is thicker than in Jura, can be self-cleaned by enclosed brush, but especially you have the possibility to flush the tube after each milk accompanied by "Easy Cleaning" with hot water (!) - Unique in this segment
(+) Coffee temperature adjustable in three stages and can thus be individually adjusted every drink 'it is set to' high 'is the drink actually really hot and therefore fit for human consumption for a long time
(+) Immediately reports any desire for cleaning, filling, etc.

The 'Coffee Intelligence' (CI) lives up to its name really more than all the glory and makes the actual market leader in front, as one has to construct a fully automatic coffee machine of premium class!
SUPPLEMENT after 3 months usage:
What was negative on:
(-) Water bowl is full quite quickly, have in this regard but no comparison with other coffee machines, where it may be as well
(-) It would have been desirable if the run would have been again about 5 cm higher, to also provide a Mug and including being able to fill directly - but 14 cm are already market leader, and therefore more than acceptable
What was positive on:
(+) All mentioned in advance positive aspects of the machine can still be fully confirmed
(+) The side panel to remove the brew group held so far defies the plastic stand and read always lose weight fairly easily and reinsert it (in this case is purely a matter of practice)
(+) Melitta Gift (coffee beans) were sent after buying the machine chosen freely and without complications promptly by mail
(+) More recently, we received one of these really otherwise so annoying survey newsletter, which was, however, to answer intuitively and quickly and also contained sensible and serious questions that can continue to improve the ansich Melitta customer service and product quality
All in all, the negative points to leading whining at a high level, otherwise we see currently still lacks a proper competition in the market and can Caffeo CI place each only warmly recommend!
