This Means War: Is the Slipknot? No! It is Nickelback, although the heavy riffs are a little reminiscent Slipknot. A real blast! Harter Song, one of the toughest. Geiler opener and a rather crass text. A challenge to the former, which intends to exclude him as a Christmas goose? One can only rumors but well, This Means War! 10/10 !!
Bottoms Up: It goes back more rock! Bottoms Up A softer Burn it to the ground version, but the branch breaks off no branch! Geiler text, cool riffs, awesome solo! Keep it up! 10/10
When We Stand Together: About for taste known. The text is really good, but the song is not really mine. The Heart-beat drum solo is really good ... that's why there are still 5 points. 5/10
Midnight Queen: Animals like! Fast rocker, the lyrics ... I as a man you love, of course;) "She's gonna lick my pistol clean [...] She's gonna be my sex machine". One of the best songs on the album! 10/10
Gotta Get Me Some: Fetter Rocker, who does not dream of such a hot-sections? Class bass playing by Mike, again a cool solo. I can not anderst. The song is just awesome. Would also fit well on The Long Road from her style. 10/10
Lullaby: I'm speechless! Really very, very, very quiet song ... but the best Nickelback song I've ever heard. And though I have the quiet songs never really liked ... This song tops everything. The melody ... to die for !! A text that goes to all those who do not feel lonely ... liked ... or just sad. Goosebumps! Just a song to discourage suicide (Stop Thinking About the easy way out [..] And if you can not tell, I'm scared as hell Because I can not get you on the telephone.) Even if it against my rule is ... this song has to get more than 10 points. 12/10
Kiss It Goodbye: Again a blast! "Hollywood is plastic, but easy on the eyes." As true as true. Sounds a bit to Hollywood from the album Silver Side Up. Class song! Lyrics that inspire some to think (Money leads to fame and fame is the disease). 10/10
Trying Not To Love You Again a quiet song, but also a good one! Class Lyrics, in which probably everyone can empathize. 9/10
Holding Onto Heaven: And here it is. That which is lacking on any album. A song that you not so great place like the others. To me, that this is here. The text is great, no question. However, I find that this is the weakest song of the entire album. 4/10
Everything I Wanna Do: Hach, I love those songs easily. You and me, sitting in a tree FUCKING. Singing class, cool riffs. Everything is just right. Really horny heavy solo! 10/10
Do not Ever Let It End: Starts weak and at the beginning I thought exactly the same as with Never Gonna Be Alone ... Who came here in Chad the eggs that he can sing so high ?! But the text is just plain cool. Beautiful verses, choruses somewhat weaker but because the verses are really nice there are still 9 points. 9/10.
Power rounded 9/10 points for the songs. The cover is beautiful. For me personally, the best Nickelback Cover. Power 10/10 so 5 star)
Two criticisms, however, there!
- The Drumbeat is almost always the same. Most peculiar in the first three songs. Just top pay.
- After three years come up with an album that is less than 40 minutes before shit. Was also criticized for Linkin Park. Since it would also have to take out a 12 song.
