When recording is saved as a recording name on an attached hard drive or USB flash drive only the station name and the recording date and time, but not the name of the program. This may provide some "confusion" then ever when times many recordings has collected and has to think for days on whether the requested ran well at the one or other day on a specific channel. Because ultimately does not help that one recording name manually can change an on-screen keyboard because the very troublesome is enter text with the Up / Down / Left and Right buttons.
While recording, you can view any previously saved on the hard disk recording simultaneously. That was also the reason why our son has now got the receiver and we have been looking for another. (I finally found anything at SMART and bought the Zappix because the receiver has established me important missing features!)
Fast forward or greater leaps in time while watching live recordings on the hard drive are just about an accurate time entry by pressing the "GoTo" button possible.
No Bookmark function (save the last playback position).
The volume control for Digital Audio is only possible via the TV or the sound system itself, not on the receiver.
After all the "bleating" I would like to highlight a few positive characteristics, which is why I bought the unit to also:
The recording format * ts can usually play without any problems also on the PC and continue editing.
While recording, other programs can be viewed on the same transponder.
Connecting a "No Name" 2.5 inch - USB hard drive was no problem after formatting.
Well then, I wish much success while rummaging in the reviews and I hope that I could help you a little bit with my experience.
