Timex - quality and service underground

When I got my first Timex clock more than 30 years ago, I was absolutely convinced of quality and durability.
The from me now acquired Expedition T2N721 represents the absolute opposite. Immediately after the end of the guarantee and warranty period fell two main functions (compass and temperature display), even though the clock has never been exposed to strong climatic influences or pressures. A water damage is excluded as well.
Despite repeated attempts to reach the so-called "service" e-mail for several months, I have until now received no reply and still a broken clock at home.
From a purchase, I can only advise due to lack of quality and non-existent service, if you want to avoid an expensive, bad experience. My conclusion: never again Timex
