Point 1 - Design and processing
The design is typical Apple excellently. Technically processing plays the iPad mini in the class at the top. It looks high quality and feels like that. If you take it in your hand you can feel only what has done a great job at the Apple Design. Only the home button started with me after about 2 months to shake, but the function was not impaired.
Point 2 - Display
The display of the iPad mini is good, nothing more. That it already but are now the successor with Retina display, this "problem" but has been resolved. But on this display; the brightness is good and the color is very true to the original. The viewing angles are okay. All in all, the display is okay, but does not play in the top league with. However, everything is easy to read, very close up look at only the pixels fall on.
Point 3 - Operation
The 7.9 inch touch screen with iOS Bedienoberfäche is intuitive and easy to use. This is facilitated by numerous supported gestures again. All you want to achieve, you have just a few clicks on. The operation is self-explanatory.
Point 4 - Equipment
The Lightning connector on the iPad mini is the only port in addition to the 3.5 mm jack connection. Unless you have the 3G version. A microSD card slot does not exist, therefore can not be extended to the system's internal memory. This is a shame and raises the iPad mini back in terms of equipment compared to other 7-8 inch devices. However, the iPad comes from the factory with some useful, pre-installed apps, which are very useful part. Only that which you do not need them, are not volatile, is a pity, but never really bothered me.
Point 5 - Power
