It was actually going directly to the WiFi remote control, this fact only worked sometimes not! When loading to USB was indeed shown something on the display when power was interrupted, the remote was dead ... The saleswoman in Saturn commented that they had lately some GoPros with this defect get it back so seems not an isolated case be.
Then, the operator is really horrible! Without a software update runs before anything! If you have this successfully carried out (of course only after one has and all registered with GoPro on the Internet with e-mail, thank you) so you can actually use the built-in WiFi (without update impossible because you can not specify a WiFi password etc.!)
Since you have only 2 buttons, the navigation is through the menu structure naturally somewhat hakelig that I could still accept, but this does not work is the fact that the camera during Operation Just looking merrily on its own back to "main display" jumps back ! Allowing various settings before cost some time, because then every time again have to start again with the navigation. I have already taken up only when setting the clock 4 or 5 videos as the key for the jump-in a menu item in the main display is just the start of the video recording ..
The provided by GoPro app works quite well, however, if you have managed to set up the WiFi camera is everything else basically self-explanatory.
The instructions of the GoPro is a (bad) joke! Only in two languages (no, not a German) and totally incomplete! In most respects just stands "visit [...] .. blah" you look for on the website, so is there but unfortunately again the same as in the manual! (Arrgh) but under the FAQs you get some hints how certain things work ..
Another point is that the camera is completely emptied overnight "by itself". If you have the evening the battery still fully charged, it is completely empty in the morning again. In some forums on the internet I read that it probably should be because the built-in WiFi to turn independently, thus then empty sucks battery - I could even also observe 3x as at once the WiFi camera to was (is a blue flashing LED display) even though I did not have this enabled and the camera had been lying just on the table.
Thus we come to the main reason why the camera is completely unusable for me:
The built-in WiFi "sucks" when switched on the camera in around 2-3 hours completely empty (without even having made only one shot) However, because the remote control or the app can communicate only via WiFi with the camera, I need this to activate the camera when I want to make my shots on the plane.
At this point, now the proverbial cat bites itself in the tail because if I eg with a cross-country flight who wants good cook can take 5-8 hours a possible external landing documented in a field etc. with the camera, so it has to have time at least hold 5 hours in "standby" - with WiFi enabled unthinkable at the GoPro however. One could, of course, install the camera in the cockpit, and then just turn it by hand if necessary, but I can with just about every other, perfectly ordinary camera also, but I do not need 400, - "ActionCam".
Now one might say OK, I take hold only short clips in airfield vicinity (launching, landing, aerobatics, etc.) on but even this would have to the camera for several hours persevere because between charge is lack of USB charging facilities at the airfield rather difficult. On the other hand, I also do not see to be able to use such an expensive product with such enormous restrictions!
Course at GoPro for just about every application extra (expensive) accessories. For example, to change spare batteries or an extra battery pack to extend the overall maturity. After reading some reviews I believe, however, this accessory does not really solve my problem. Although the spare battery extends the life of your camera - but only by about 30% to 40% which then still far too little would be considered that they would persevere with WiFi activated long enough (I still talk here about how to keep in standby - Omission ).
What's also pushed me a little sour, is the fact that GoPro really can pay for everything sauteuer!

- Suction cup? 35, - (the single most important support for a ActionCam is not there!)
- A housing (Skeleton Housing) in which the camera can also be charged? 50, -
Conclusion:
The camera may well make great shots but what good is it to me if everything else around it is not thought out properly or not working?
Perhaps I may be a little "old fashioned" but think about it from a product, which does not compromise on the price, I expect performance and function without compromise!
The GoPro is expensive and comes almost without any usable accessories therefore (not even a cap for the lens? C'mon! The cost but a few cents!) And from this point should be as a customer expect same!
My expectations it is not done justice, and therefore I have also returned, I'd recommend them to also because of my experience in handling and the many small weaknesses no.
