Top-camera for ambitious amateur photographers

after I had taken to be content with the advent of digital photography with compact and bridge cameras, I wanted to finally equip with a digital SLR. Because two useful interchangeable lenses were already available for the Nikon system, I had first set me on Nikon, and also wanted to stay in the APSC sensor range (ie no full frame camera). I finally after extensive testing in the shop (yes, I have the camera here ordered from Amazon, but bought in a stationary camera store) opted for the D5100. And regret it in any way.

- The camera is equipped with its advanced 16 MB CMOS sensor on the cutting edge of digital photography. The resolution and technical quality of images is absolutely top in my opinion. More MB I need in any case. She has a very good smoking behavior, so that you can achieve excellent images even at high ISO speeds, the color reproduction, sharpness and brilliance are fully convincing in my opinion.

- The operating concept, the "handling" the camera is in my view also very positive. Se is fast (although it still might be faster cameras I found the speed so far in all the situation as completely satisfactory), although it has not so many function keys, such as "professional cameras", but the quick access via i-button on a number of setting parameters that appears on the very sharp 3 "display, works at the end as well, if not better. I have certainly so used in a short time because I do not want to miss this kind of operation.

- The fully swiveling display were for me the way also a selling point, and these features I would not have missed. The making very meaningful services especially for the video filming, but it's not so much my interest, I have not even been used this feature.

- The only negative thing I could say is that the camera is relatively small, almost "petite" built, although I'm not a big man, and have not for big hands. But this compactness on the other hand of course the advantage that you just carry around no bulky monstrosity with it, but quite compact device with a lot of technology on board.

- Another selling point was the friendly price for me. I've got the body of 390 and find that, considering the benefits that provides the camera, simply outstanding. This "savings" have I immediately invested in additional lenses, and this is a recommendation that I would like to place any novice or even serious amateur very warmly: the photograph is a lot more exciting and enriching if your At length you good interchangeable lenses! Zuzulegen to a digital SLR camera and then rumzuknipsen only with the kit lens is a shame because wasted potential.
