I just wanted a housing to connect my previously internal 3TB hard drive on my router as a NAS replacement. In this case, however, I had to squeeze fingers bled, to get the disc in the extremely narrow guide rails and then be pushed in firmly, that the ports will also get contact me. Either that part is thus basically crap or it fails the quality control (otherwise are almost impossible to explain the hundreds of good reviews). And no, I'm not stupid, I've been 10 years screw around on PCs and this is not my first hard drive enclosure ... Once you have connected everything then, a patch has worried and with a lot (!) Pressure at which you already afraid that the board breaks, everything pushes back into the housing, the LED plug reconnects and everything zuschraubt, can be Turn the screw 1 and screw 2 super slides just completely straight into the screw hole. Great. When connected to the PC and router the device but not the hard disk therein is recognized, .... This part goes back and again to buy the not certainly! Since I only USB2 ports, I can test it even there, a full compatibility is indeed promised in the description.
