Here's the main thing, the music became a little too predictable. One might almost think "Sigh No More" is a double album and this is the second disk with the outtakes, or B-Sides.
For almost all songs on "Babel" contains thematically similar songs "Sigh No More".
What fascinated me at "Sigh No More" as was the clarity of the songs that is not as smooth sanded, slightly edged game, the exciting moments when the song suddenly takes a completely different turn, the depth and approach of the singer.
Here is clearly a development noticing only whether I should see well, I do not know.
The songs are a bit too smooth, but catchy and compact composed. I miss the surprising moments and you hear closely, is a banjo sometime magnificently on my nerves because apparently always the same riff is played. There are durchaud good pieces on "Babel", but none of them is a so under the skin as "A White Blank Page" from the debut album.
Everything seems a bit complacent on commercialism trimmed at the expense of playing and improvisation joy of our four heroes.
Nice, but a shame that nothing better came out here.
