The fact is not concerned with Down South stereotypes, as you'll immediately notice the opener "King Back", a produced by Just Blaze banger who might be on any typical East Coast album as well. The admirable is that he also very typical Dirty South sound can deliver without problems, as in the aforementioned "What You Know" or the perfect full stop "Bankhead", a hymn to TI's Hood. And in spite of this change of style has never under the impression that TI loses the thread, so you do hear an album and not just a collection of good songs. This is something that is now extremely rare and therefore for me, "King." making the best album of the last years, apart from the LPs of my favorite artists.
Although I would not go so far as "King." described as classic, but in a few years it could possibly develop there. But what it creates in any event, a hot contender is to be on the rap album of 2006.
