2x defective / leaking

The image quality of the TG3 deserves at least 3 stars -. For an outdoor camera is fine (but nothing more).
BUT: the first TG3 was leaking after a few days, even though I had the seals always meticulously controlled / cleaned. After the first snorkel gears, the objective was to - because I still thought of condensation. But shortly afterwards (while snorkeling and especially diving) was even begun the complete display. "Airing" not helped as well ...
The camera was withdrawn fortunately Amazon. So I bought for the next vacation again a TG3.
Result: she seemed to be tight, while snorkeling there was no problem - they do not even began.
BUT: the first dive (max. 12 meters depth) they focused within a few meters of depth first no longer correct (always out of focus) and shortly afterwards they switched off and could no longer turn on. Only at a depth of max. 2 meters she then works again. This was repeated with further dives. But the error was obviously not at leaks.
It may be that I had 2x unlucky - but I rather think that the TG3 is unsuitable for diving's. Deeper than 2-3 meters should be no better dive with her. Too Bad !!!
But the competition it does not seem to be able to better - so I have next time probably again a case for my purchase "normal" camera. That has always been tight and the image quality is also better. If it's just not as awkward would ...
