I was looking for a reasonably priced, but affordable Polarizer and was the brand Hoya recommended. Therefore, I have to "Hoya Y1POLCSN37 Slim cirkular polarizing filter (37mm)" gripped. Through reviews of other 37 mm Polarizer I was forewarned that there are probably some polarizing filters that are not on the Olympus MFT kit lens (14-42 mm) fit, which included, among others, the Olympus PEN E-PL5. However, this polarizing filter fits properly. Due to the construction (Slim) of the lens, it may be a little hard to get the polarizing filter for turning again to grasp properly. So that the disadvantage of the variant Slim.
Overall, the filter makes but a robust and well-made impression and met purely technical point of view its purpose as a polarizing filter.
Moreover, I have not yet tested the filter long, have anyway no great experience with polarizing filters and can & do not therefore assess the optical quality of the filter / compare.
