Songs for the End of the World (Audio CD)

Customer Review

"Oh, it's on to Christmas, and Rick brings back out a new album ..." - but if you have the right thought, then they are completely on the wrong track! No Christmas Gedönse, no Knuddel ballads for fire ... instead of honest, harmonious, handmade rock with good lyrics and a sense of autobiography, as one knew from Springfield and knows. I would call this album almost as crossover, it proposes yet somehow a bridge between his work and his style from the 80s of the last two albums, the music somewhat uncompromising and harder to the point went as earlier works. For me coming "Songs for the End of the World", although not quite to the quality of "Venus in Overdrive" approach, but tired of hit potential has it all, and who, according to songs like "Our Ship's Sinking", "I Hate Myself" "A Sign of Life", "My Last Heartbeat" or "Love Screws Me Up" no chorus in the ear remains, which is truly beyond help ... !!
Everyone else can so confidently rocked the end of the world (at least according to the Mayan calendar) look forward to - Hurraaaaa !!!
