Electric and still going GaGa ...

As the only singer among 30 in the list of '100 best voices of all time' there is no question that Christina Aguilera with her voice just about anything can sing. Having paid tribute with 'Back To Basics' the music of the 30s and 40s, it was only logical to go with the new album 'Bionic' in the opposite direction and to make an Electro-album. And although she is highly esteemed among colleagues and music critics (including 5 Grammy Awards), it is for the tabloids still the preferred victims. After having now seen that the comparison with Britney Spears more than lagging and no longer works, another comparison is provoked. 'An electro album of Christina Aguilera has to sound so by Lady GaGa', scoffs because the unsuspecting critics (to obviously have ever laid without the CD in the player). After a series of ballads and songs to relax (SEX FOR BREAKFAST) the pace is again tightened. MY GIRLS is a fleet of thanks to the female fellow activists who Christina assisted in making of the album and VANITY stands out through his provocative and ironic text about vanity.

Owner of the Deluxe version are pleased with 5 additional tracks that rival the regular tracks in nothing. MONDAY MORNING is very funky and retro therefore and ensures a good mood, while we STRONGER THAN EVER match the song title once more a classic powerful Christina presented.

Lyrically, the album moves between extremely sexy and playful, like 'Stripped' times (as in potential summer hit woohoo I HATE BOYS) and thoughtful, like on' Back to Basics' (I AM, YOU LOST ME) and covers a wide bandwidth from. Musically the new album is very versatile, is a new experimental Christina as well as the classic Christina. Nevertheless, it is possible to unite on one disc without the infamous red thread to lose the very electronic up-tempo numbers and the orchestrated classic ballads.
