I have the album now approximately 10x by part - and thus is really "part" meant lying on the sofa with his eyes closed and not as an aside sprinkling.
Of course, everything is a matter of taste, the phenomenon that old fans feel stepped on their toes when their band suddenly gets new fans (of course, all have no idea), I can certainly accept with a smile.
That the killer using elements from the 80s, seems in itself to be for many a negative feature, overlook it but that just had the 80 musically diverse decade. That you can hear on this album: Comparison with the Talking Heads agrees partly with the Pet Shop Boys, because the current single human remembers very to the Pet Shop Boys remix of the Killers song "Read My Mind". Only we want dochmal be honest: The Pet Shop Boys are much more than a small 80-Combo, only seem to have forgotten that some in their Anti-Pop craze.
What does that have to do with this album? Much! The Killers go with this album actually new ways. But a step backwards, I can not recognize. The whole album has my feeling just a not so good title and even though the taste is: I am with safe, the next Killers album will sound totally different. We Treat the guys but once this trip to maybe actually something massentauglichere climes.
Beautiful melodies, clean productions and now and then sometimes an automatically mitwippende sole of the foot in the listener can not be a mistake, right?
