1. Noise:
In is very much written. The Fuji is notoriously low noise, even at ISO 400 or even 800th
But: Each camera needs light so you can take pictures with her. One should therefore be making not crazy by the noise at high ISO values.
In analogue photography, there is the grain of a film and no one has been upset, that a 400-film was grainy as a 100-er.
I think you have the sound so well in Verhälnis see the available light. A camera is finally no night vision device.
2. Aperture:
Here I made the decision for Fuji somewhat difficult. It has an initial aperture of 4.9 at the telephoto end (eg Canon S3 IS: 3.5) and is therefore not just bright.
3. Focus range in tele:
The camera has in Tele a focus range from 200cm to infinity. (The Canon S3 on the other hand is starting at 90 cm sharp.) Objects can thus be automatically focused at full telephoto only from two meters away.
This can be good but offset by the manual focus.
4. Image Stabilizer:
He was one of the main reasons for the purchase of a new camera actually for me. However, the Fuji has no image stabilizer. I can convince me that the image stabilizer makes primarily for static subjects sense. He is like so only the restlessness of the hand, not the subject. I photograph more motives in motion and therefore choose, if possible, high shutter speeds.
The Fuji is a great camera. What really excites me is the reflex feeling that does not arise in many "toys".
The camera is very comfortable to hold. A reliable and accurate adjustment of the zoom manually is me here, rather than a motor.
If I had one wish, it would be a swiveling display. However, I take pictures anyway actually prefer using the viewfinder, so I may deduct for the large and bright display and no star.
