Best of So is the first three plates (Psychedelic Furs, Talk Talk Talk, Forever Now). Sometimes less is more. So I would have found it more beautiful, to make a CD with a selection of the first 3 albums and not 2 CDs. After all, if you like the sound of the early Furs, nothing can start with the 80s-pop mainstream of later times, which sounds just totally outdated. Conversely, I do not think that someone who is looking for 80-pop mainstream for parties, on this CD finds joy - also are the Psychedelic Furs at such people today completely unknown. CD 1 has been focused in focus but fortunately the first 3 albums - unfortunately come between purely Bays from the 4th album (Mirror Moves), which although had a cool cover, but otherwise well ... Well, the very bad things ( from the 5th album) then come only on the 2nd CD. But so brilliant songs such as "President Gas", "Forever Now" from the first 3 albums act on CD2 as foreign bodies in addition to the things from the 5th album. This is not consistent. Had housed these songs on the CD1 and it omitted songs from the album "Mirror Moves", it would be optimal.
Nevertheless, I forgive 3 stars, because here you already have the most important numbers at the price of a CD on 2 CDs, unfortunately. The band could be so awesome. Numbers such as "Sister Europe" can still play well. Of course, "Pretty in Pink". I like especially "We love you" or "Yes I Do (Merry-Go-Round)" with the typical pushing punk NewWave bass that is also found in Joy Division and the likes.
