In any case, I have three years starting once again to investigate and was speechless to say the least, what has been happening there again. The current digicams are related to a three-year-old model as a C64 to an Ipad. We're talking about a computing power (mind you with cameras), of which one might have been dreaming time not too long ago still at NASA. Incredibly, what the small clippers so everything on it have now. Someone is reading Discworld novels here? I only say iconographer ^^
Here in any case (m) a kind of Sony HX5V test, or '. it is rather a description of the path that has led me to the decision to buy, but also who is perhaps of interest to some. The hard part is always narrow, what you really really want.
After a few Google sessions I had my favorites together. For a more detailed selection were:
Canon PowerShot SX 210 IS
Panasonic Lumix TZ10
Casio EXILIM EX H15
Sony Cybershot HX5V
My goodness there's a lot Lesetoff the Internet. Thank God I came across a wonderful thread where someone has taken the trouble almost exactly to illuminate my selection closer and especially: to compare the many features together. Addiction times in DSLR-FORUM 'after the thread with a comparison of current travel zoom cameras.
But nothing is perfect, so no digicam this world and out of sheer comparisons, arguments and counter-arguments, has soon smoked me the bulb.
At some point I had the Schanuze full, genuine! Because I thought so, it's enough! The discovery phase is complete.
I just went again in me and asked me in all honesty, what I really want:
A camera that makes really great photos on DSLR level, simply by pressing the shutter button, but this is much smaller than a DSLR, hardly costs anything and lots of scene modes has, is still manually operated, and a zoom range of 22 must have '500 (of course, with a bright lens). Oh 'movies on camcorders levels must of course be there too.
Oh give it the gar nich? Oh '. shame
At every compact camera has to settle for less. Some have certain advantages (and for just certain disadvantages). Weighing is therefore called for.
The Sony HX5V is accused quite aggressive image processing. Yes, there is the camera properly recalculated (noise freedom at the expense of detail), the question is: What do I do afterwards with the photos?
Images at the pixel level does not need a man whose hobby is photography, so I do not regurgitates the much maligned aggressive image post the Sony so bad. On the contrary, the disputed part of the web images I find not bad (From the point 'A pig looks into the movement')
Ultimately, I'm actually more of a typical 'clippers' who has actually hardly used the whole manual options (for example, had my old F31fd). I am sure that I would get out much better pictures with the camera can, but actually I've always found only on autopilot.
So what I'm here in front of all the time?
I do look at the pictures almost exclusively on screen or printed once a year a photo calendar using an online shipping out. Perhaps now and again a few prints in 13 × 18 '
For the really hot pictures of my son (the one that can make you as a 70 × 50 poster enlarge) I have a buddy there with a DSLR. He can handle it well, what more could you want?
I think with this setting you can pretty much buy anyway katuelle any compact camera, because everyone can take pictures at the level demanded by me. Final decision I had but only after I repeatedly went to a Elektronikfachmärke close to me and the HX5V, the TZ10 and some other candidates simply had time in hand. Without having a consultation consulted, I found the Sony spontaneously the smoothest in terms of menu navigation. I came up with this by far the most in the simple trial and error. She's a bit fiddly little buttons of her, but I was still ok. I had the Sony simply the most likeable and one should not also ignore it?
One can already some fun things with the camera do eg:
-Auto HDR mode (Very good at Gegemlicht or subjects where you shoot out of the darkness into the light, or vice versa)
-Serienbildfunktion (Up to 10 frames / s with full resolution)
-The GENIALE Twilight mode (in the 5 pictures are shot in sequence, the in-camera to be aggregated -To you can take pictures in the dark almost directly! The results are truly astounding)
Panorama function (When slowly panning the camera 100 images are shot and immediately to a sharp erstaunlihc photo together)
-GPS For geotagging (conserves batteries can be switched off)
And all this' out of the box 'loosely from the hip'.
Who wants to know more about it, you should read the abundant reviews that are all written by people who know more about it than I do.
Here is a link to self-made images. That was the very first test, just anyway snapped this weekend:
[...]
I repeat again: I am not an amateur photographer. Here, then, my very first snapshots without having the manual even touched. The images, however, are taken only with 5MP 'Ahem, I'm reading right now then, here are the manual
Incidentally, 'the video function is already great. We are talking here of a still camera and is the size of a cigarette box. All the videos are better than our ancient Canon camcorders of 1999th
I mean hello? The HX5V even has an image stabilization, making it the absolute knockout criterion that was previously at Digicamfilmchen, off the table. However, this is now state of the art, at least with the current models. Anyway, the films of Familienrelevantem paraphernalia (making 95% of our son when something ') is the HX5V all good enough.
I like this thing as far as really good and they now must also hold back some years (until I again give my son to play, but until then, the cameras must then also remotely control my car and wash clothes can)
