As I am writing this review, PLC operate continuously for three weeks with two PCs and a TV decoder, without the slightest concern or break.
- Installation is a breeze: just plug in a first, directly into a wall outlet and connect it to your network box, and then, the following CPL wedge themselves automatically on the first, after pressing systematically the encryption button.
- The strongest flow that I saw in the Cockpit software is 450 Mbit / s, which is very good, since we must take into account the length of the electrical installation (max 300 m), and I underfloor heating. Small note: be careful not to connect them near a power tool or a toaster, they do not work well, if at all.
- They heat little, even during intensive use.
- The build quality is outstanding.
My only complaint is that they hiss louder or softer depending on if we fall right or wrong. After a rapid response by mail service, who want to share you, they tell you that it's a normal little noise on this reference then, while the dLAN 1000 mini, them, for example, do not whistle!
Warning: it is imperative to connect the PLC directly into a wall outlet, do not go through a power strip or extension cord, otherwise they would work very badly, with cuts and a rate not exceeding 100 Mbit / s!
That's very good CPL, given their reasonable price and dual Ethernet connection, for housing, if they do not whistle, they would be perfect!
