The plot is diabolical, and scenes of rare intensity are occurring at a rapid pace. The only small breaks in the narrative are fully exploited to describe the main character, Franck Sharko, shared tracking down the murderer and the struggle against his inner demons.
For a little over 300 pages, Franck Thilliez grabs the reader and made it through the worst trials. Stress, fear, disgust, horror, all these feelings are mixed when playing to let you, after the last page is turned, a big ball in the chest, and the feeling of having read one of the best thrillers of recent years !
