One of my favorite album is this: The Book of Secret.
This album is a pure delight !! I never tire of listening.
With these 8 pieces, yes it seems little, but the songs and music are long, you see !!
The shorter is the prologue lasts longer than 4 minutes and the longest lasts just over 10 minutes.
These pieces are of Oriental inspiration with Celtic course notes. For this album anyway.
Me it's good, I like the music of the East !! And I really find these inspirations.
The piece 4 is really Oriental inspiration. This is Marco Polo. With this piece, I just feel to be back during the Crusades or the reconquest of Spain.
And this is still true with La Serenissima (there we in Venice). Ready for a departure by boat to pick spices and cloth.
But the album itself is also very pretty. It is a very pretty "picture book."
If you like Loreena McKennitt and you not own this album, you need it !!
This is a must !! And it is to listen without moderation. No false note for me and especially for her; o)
