Although all the songs have their right to exist more than earned a few Highlighs: The alleged (never perceived by me) chart hit "Break My World" (sung by Amanda Ghost) of Dance with unusually rich songwriting combined. This for the genre almost complex texts fall on in the coming-called songs.
With a whiny Boy Goerge (I've confused the first time for David Bowie), the wonderfully gloomy song "atom" of the stimmungsmaessigen (not qualitative!) Low point of the album marked.
Last but not least, the strong "Feed", which sounds like Kosheen's drum'n'bass pieces (Hide U or Catch) and re-animated by Amanda Ghost for dancing (or at least quick nod).
Perhaps still 2 analogies to highlight the versatility of the album even further: "For Raymond" (sung by Julie Thompson) is reminiscent of Emilia Torrini in "Love in the Time of Science" and sung by Imogen Andrews "Everybody fades" would not farmSurprise on a Morcheeba album. The whole is still held together by very varied instrumental interludes and 3 remixes of "Break My World".
Total: purists and sub-genre fanatics are perhaps the nose (but maybe even the odd song like) electronics pantheist (or generalist) like me will love this album: A milestone.
