The clear plastic parts in the unit are lt. Imprint of polystyrene (PS). The interior of the freezer is only at the top of an exposed cooling element, sides, rear panel and gland are smooth and easy to clean. The bays are separated by glass plates. Overall, the defrosting and cleaning should therefore be a quick affair. It is also possible to use the bottle holder from the door of the refrigerator as a collection container for condensation. Having to look for suitable dishes or wipe puddles is so passé.
