A funny and surprising thriller

I'm not a serial killer (Paperback)

Customer Review

This is an amazing thriller! And that's a lot! A certain kinship with the suggestion might be "No mercy for Martin", this style of comedy thriller, caustic, cynical. The humor is present in the synopsis installation: the narrator hero is a teenage sociopath son of undertaker, mid-Dexter, mid-Six Feet Under. He feels in himself as a double, fascinated by death and serial killers, his childhood passion. Then he holds it in compliance and imposes draconian rules in line with his shrink, to appear normal and curb its relentless drive.
This novel, which seems to move towards a multiple personality, is much more complex than it appears in its construction. Full of surprises on a short (but first in a trilogy), it reserves many turning situations and enough strangeness (and sarcasm) to keep going.
Quite unclassifiable novel finally, but tasty, with no doubt! A great gift that will delight many readers of all ages.
