If this first volume was not a heart for me, it was a very enjoyable read. From the first pages, goshawks this whole universe of music that we finally found some really seduced me. Backstage at a rock concert, it's a little dream for many of us, so find out what is hiding was very interesting. What caught my attention in the first place, it is the immediate attachment I felt for the characters, especially that of Ryder. Although "snapshots" of the star or rock 'heroes' erotic romances are present, the author has managed to use them sparingly and thus give all his distinct personality to the protagonist, and I could only crack . Jamison, meanwhile, is also very touching. Love has always been his bassist friend, it does not mean a weak and naive character, which would have deprived the story of his whole punch. As for the other characters, I particularly fond of the value of friendship that the author was able to take with power and emotion in this first volume, point I'd really like to meet in the second.
As for the pen of the author, this one is very nice. It reads very quickly and no known history in my downtime. One of the criticisms that often comes to me in the romance to erotic scenes is that these are increasingly used at inappropriate times, too hastily, and eventually lose their appeal. However in this novel the author does not abused and knows how to use that style without ever being overbearing. Indeed, it takes the scenes at the pace of the evolution of the characters and their relationships, and so the reader is transported.
Finally I think the only downside would be the fact that the first 2/3 of the novel does not really deal of romantic feelings between Jamison and Ryder, but only the lust that could displease some. I would also have liked to know more about the past of Ryder, but the author we do understand that this is not the subject here, so I avoid frustration. I have however been able to hang just as if this novel was a bit longer for added detail. With haste I would expect the second volume, Removes me who my regret concerns either Ryder and Jamison, but Quinn and Elise.
For any lover of romance, do not hesitate and get started.
