A good strategy game with a few limitations

I played the game in 1997 but bought only a few months ago myself one. Although quite a pause intervened, it was me (rightly) a memorable one. The game has a total of not so high profile and we have played only a few people.

Short description:
During the game you're trying to occupy as many lands in the old Spain with its tiles. Who there has each the superiority in the championship rounds, gets the highest points listed there. The possible moves per round are determined by action cards: 5 stacks, the top card of each visible and the fifth stack consists only of the king card.. Through selected by player power cards, the order changes when you drag the action cards. Who what card - and especially when - selects is very crucial for the strategy.

Positives:
Long construction work is not necessary.
Relatively easy to learn, even if the entry on a first reading in some places is not immediately clear. There are but a detailed practice round to reenact (super idea!) - Then everything is clear. In addition, each card will be explained in detail.
Because the cards are drawn and this will vary the order of drawing any game is new u. Monotony is not actually.
Happiness is not a decisive match (no dice), but will be settled solely by their own strategy (twice in the game + once at the end, as well as possible intermediate ratings).
By watching the players you have here really foresighted u. Smart draw cards and checkers set => the game stimulates the little gray cells. (Educational).
Even for two playable, threes or more much more interesting and unpredictable.
The more often you play, the better the game.
The stones are made of wood, so you can play the game in the garden and see the stones disappear not the same at every little puff of wind, never to return. Ever makes the whole game a relatively robust u. Most significant impression.

Neutral:
. Since every man for himself plays and not you act together, the fun factor is the game is quite "soft" and therefore low -.> To laugh, there is unfortunately nothing. Quite the contrary: there is something built by his action other, one experiences often an atmosphere as "Ludo".
Since the distribution of points is very strong from observing the other players depending (what the other u. I must therefore do) you spend a lot of time mulling over his next action. The forward-looking games / thinking raises the age limit of players rather. For younger children the game is therefore not recommended.
Likewise, it is thus likely to play also not particularly recommended the game in tired or tipsy state. ;-)

Negatives:
Although there are 9 rounds, 11 action cards per stack are available. (Expansion cards do not exist either.) More cards have more selection means and even more variety. This is also known quite fast all variants.
The packaging can be desired: In the middle is a large area without classification subjects. This, however, the entire card is always jumbled wild u. Before the start of the game only starts once the big Order!
The two-player game is possible, but relatively boring! One only has to watch a teammate u. Really tricky situations hardly occur, which further dampens the fun factor.
The King card is always drawn inevitably with 5 players.
Not playable on 6.

Conclusion:
A rather interesting game which is then better if you have first seen through the whole variation. After that, it is not necessarily as important, what card is drawn, but rather when to get to the train. The best card of a round is pointless if a later player with his train can ruin everything again. And that happens quite often, so that the atmosphere of "Ludo not" virtually imposes.
