Tales of the Abyss is a remake of a 2005 episode originally released on PS2, so it naturally comes a little to the origins of the series. If you have been introduced to the series recently with Xillia Abyss probably will seem bland in its gameplay and much less dense and varied mechanical, but if you're a longtime fan of the Tales of you surely will hang. Tales of a good and a good JRPG that will satisfy fans.
