Everything starts with the murder of an ophthalmologist in Giverny, Monet's famous stronghold, around the three murder "women": a girl, a teacher and an old "witch" loner. Certainly the end is "amazing" but frankly it's a bit far-fetched; could be disregarded if the rest of the novel was up but in my opinion this is not the case: it's messy, it drags on, it turns round in short you get tired waiting for a dazzling end qi ultimately falls as a blown! In short, five literary awards in 2011 as shown in the back cover is a price to pay!
