Batman Begins: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack (CD)

Customer Review

Ah, that would be no Batman Begins his music?
Already a masterpiece, no doubt, the best Batman of all time: very dark, exciting, realistic, the most epic of all, and the only place the character of Bruce Wayne first.
The music, composed by Hans Zimmer (Gladiator, The Last Samurai, King Arthur ...) and by James Newton Howard (King Kong, Blood Diamond), simply transcandé the film and helped epic vision, realistic Nolan and psychological, bringing an incredible breath to an already exceptional film.
If Batman Begins is also tense, as epic, as boulversant, intense, thanks, in part, to the music!

Some tracks, however, are not necessarily pleasant to listen, this is pure background music designed to create tension and) create a dark atmosphere, they succeeded perfectly! These are:

1-Vespertiio, the music of the opening sequence of the film

5-Artibeus, tense music, and that makes the film very intense scene

6-Tadarida, a pure delight, which mixes a dark ambience, epic and desperate.

9-Nycteris, room also very tense, very representative of the mood of the film

The most notable tracks are certainly those that accompany the action scenes, giving them an incredible epic; they often start so very tense, then go to creschendo to the epic:

2-Eptesicus, stirring background music, emotion music and combat.

3-Myotis, the track that accompanies the sword fight in the dojo, certainly one of the best music ever made for action scenes.

4-Barbastella, quieter music, but still epic.

8-Antrozous, track doubling the most epic moment in the film, as well as the famous phrase: "that I am in my heart, I am judged by my actions" with a creschendo to chills anyone.

10-Molossus, as qu'épique intense music, making prosecution extremely dynamic Gotham.

Then three quietest slopes, very moving, even boulversantes:

7-Macrotus, the "dramatic theme" Batman Begins

11-Corynorhinus, another sad melody, but beautiful.

12-Lasiurus fairly long track mixing dramatic melodies, and energetic melodies.

Small precision: these bizarre track titles are taken from bats names.

In short, if you loved the movie, you will adore music.

However, this album is not without tasks: a lot of music in the film that were lacking there. Indeed, where is the epic music in which Bruce into his cellar to open the closet in which is the mask of Batman? That which accompanies the legendary attack of bats? That of the end credits? All these music tracks have been extraordinary, but have unfortunately not been added in the CD.
