Cassandra is, as always in this kind of work a strong head, but unlike other novels of the genre, it is by no means gifted in combat (whether magic or combat) and dependent on others for defend (a detail that changes little compared to other works of the genre). Level history, I admit that it is rather special. We start in a sort of fight time travel or be 2 (including Cassandra) compete in the past to affect the old vampires design so that it reflects on the current war of vampires. It is rather original but it will not please everyone, especially the narration of Karen Chance quite cumbersome and do not have bed as easily as other novels of the genre. The result of the events that keep coming with quite slow and which will soon lose patience more impatient.
A novel that remains quite special and I would recommend for those who want a little change of air in the area of ​​Bit-bed (especially as Cassandra Palmer covers are among the most beautiful in the genre).
