A portrait that wants bright, colorful, flying high. True Eric Zemmour has talent. The book is divided into small sections, each of which bears the title for one year corresponding to a stage of life of J Chirac. However Zemmour despite his talent 'captures' not the essential character; his political intelligence that enabled him to two presidential terms, to stay 40 years at the top of French politics, a performance that few have equaled. What Zemmour does not captured in his portrait is the courage of the President, his great strength. This would have liked Zemmour talks about his military exploits during the war in Algeria that Chirac has made in the field and not in a hideout. It is this innate courage which enabled him to embark on the adventure at the highest political level, which enabled it to launch decisive reforms in the 80s or allowed him to intervene in 1995 to end the war in Bosnia. Eric Zemmour believes Chirac know but he really knows?
Overall Eric Zemmour gives a picture of the most mediocre of the former president, albeit at a moment Zemmour recognizes that 'this is the genius of Chirac than accept being taken for a "brain to manage," a horse to ride (...) by the people who serve. "Indeed Chirac has surrounded himself, Marie-France Garaud and Pierre in July during the 70s to Edouard Balladur in the 80s.
In fact, the book deals with the personality, psychology of Chirac, few of its political decisions gold is above those that will remain in history. In 100 years we will have forgotten Chirac's personality but we will not forget that for example it is he who in the 20th century launched the first great liberal reforms in France in the 86/88 years, who at abolishes military service, he who had the courage to intervene in Bosnia in 1995 to end the war. These are acts that say more about the personality of Chirac that all exterior looks all wild or psychology attempts.
