Rooms typically goes here everything down like butter. Right at the beginning of the score radiates an immense drama, with partly soft and partly action accented sounds.
The Action passages of rooms ("Myotis" and "Molossus") are perhaps not the newest, but do their effect and bring excitement, speed and bombast into play in such a way as wirs know and love. However, the action here sounds much darker and darker than before in Danny Elfman underpainting for the Tim Burton films. But comparisons bring here anything anyway ...
But not only the action is great, even the more gentle and emotional parts of the soundtrack from the musical genius Howard, are qualitatively outstanding: especially the piano passages let a goose bumps chase over the body! It's just amazing what make for an oppressive, threatening but also nice atmosphere both composers, everything looks like a surreal nightmare, a whole new facet of the Dark Knight and I like that!
The only drawback: The title is no have real names, the indication of where and when the passages appear in the film ... But never mind, it's the music that's important, is not it?
I think the score for Batman Begins "could not have been better and brilliant and, in my opinion an absolutely great work, like" The Dark Knight ". One of my favorites among the room works and is underrated in my eyes too often!
