Limp Bizkit is (quote mutatis mutandis Rammstein) "unique" when it comes to creating pieces that make it -despite a fairly conventional Aufbaus- to generate a voltage, and to keep this well: A section, B section , A-part and then the slide, where everything is beautiful, but also uncertain, this is typical of the band slots, which manage entirely without drum parts and eventually culminate in a spectacular C-section, eg for "eat you alive" !
This album manages in particular, maintain a good continuity from the first to the last piece. Worth mentioning, I find particularly convincing gloom in "Lonely World", the brute in songs like "phenomenon" (not without also typical for Limp Bizkit humor) and "eat you alive", the Balladenhaftigkeit in the streets Feger "Behind Blue Eyes" and the somewhat misunderstood "drown", with lets end the album wonderfully the band, and especially the interesting structure that wonderful Melodiehaftigkeit and the just mentioned interplay of hardness and softness in "build a bridge" and the fabulous "Underneath The Gun" one of, in my opinion at least, best pieces of Limp Bizkit at all!
Thus, nothing is by purchasing this CD purely to go wrong when Crossover / Nu Metal like, and looks forward to a piece of music, a bridge between punkier bands like Goldfinger, NoFX and consorts and too slick overproduction of Linkin Park suggests.
That way, Limp Bizkit are also absolute live Gigangen, they could provide a renewed time recently demonstrated at Rock am Ring.
Listen Absolutely !!
