an attempt at a new beginning

Too bad that you can not assign half points. But 5 points are too much for me; that would mean * Battle For The Sun * * with Sleeping With Ghosts equate *. That's not for me. But 4 points are to me almost too little, but for me still justified as a perfect score.
What's so different about the new Placebo album? Not only is the new drummer. I'm still trying to forget the dirty laundry that has been washed in public on the occasion of album releases. Such mudslinging I think is unnecessary, but they often show pages that you'd rather not see. That leaves all but a bitter aftertaste. And against his fans should not be too briskly.
But back to the actual. It's hot, very clearly. And it was dropped bombast. Also good, but in some places there is missing something. This original state as once in 1996, although not bad meant. But with me ignites not the full effect. And even more clearly missing the quiet tones. Well, a * Without you I`m nothing * there will never be again. It's just out of reach. But so completely without this substance.
Even at * Kitty Litter * the direction is clearly indicated. And so it goes on until the end. But really wanted to fix anything at the first hearing. And so it goes to me until today. The album goes through, but the barbs are absent. They are all good songs, as well as the upcoming single * Ashtray Heart *. But the bar has not just created high. Brian Molkos voice makes for an unmistakable brand recognition. Also the sound is clearly placebo. And * For what it`s worth * fetzt really begins and so the whole album could go on. But it does not.
Placebo want to redefine. But quite as brave as Weiland Robert Smith, they were again not. * Battle For The Sun * is a great 6.Album a big band. But the hoped-for turnaround was not that. It was safe, similar to * Meds * (the I like better). The big surprise came.
