Shudder BEFORE THE BEAUTIFUL (10/10):

Elan (10/10)
Already pre-published and has certainly caused mixed reactions. I truly can not. What we have here is an excellent folk-rock ballad, both mainly Floor Jansen's vocals in the foreground. The song is aligned her voice to her voice, which I personally like very much. Beautifully quiet and melodic ballad held. Who fears the whole album would be so calm, do not worry this is not so;) Elan goes just under the skin, Genial what Nightwish deliver here.
YOURS IS AN EMPTY HOPE (10/10)
Wow, the song falls. Nightwish ratios maintained very hard, perhaps even the hardest Somg long or at all. The guitars rumble darkly and gleichczeitig perfectly mixed from the speakers. The verses are rather fast, the brake is in the chorus then fully depressed. A dark and slow chorus begins. Unusual, but very attractive. The central part with the mystic chorus reminds on to "The Siren" was very well kommt.Vor especially the last part of the song fälllt, Floor and Marko screaming either zuammen or individually into the microphone, especially of her rather unusual sounds, but I find also great. This shows that the woman also may be quite different, I like it. And it is also a dig in the direction of those who claim Floor would sing quiet, well done Nightwish :)
OUR DECADES IN THE SUN (10/10)
Ballade No.2. This time, no folk but an acoustic ballad. The ballad has devoted his parents mastermind Tuomas Holopainen. Kept the pacing very slowly and calmly / melodic, this song is a ballad that might not fit the True Metal fan in the kKram, but Nightwish connoisseurs will already understand the importance dises songs). MY WALDEN (7/10)
For me, the low point of the album. Folky rock metal song but somehow nothing special. As the two previous albums Imaginaerum (I Want My Tears Back) and Drak Passion Play (The Islander) the mandatory Folksong. My Walden unfortunately have to go back behind the aforementioned songs, somehow it lacks that certain something. Do not misunderstand the song is good and catchy, but esfehtl anything, the song is too plain.
ENDLESS FORMS MOST BEAUTIFUL (10/10)
So, there he is, the title track. Unlike Imaginaerum here it is not an instrumental. EFMB is a premier metal stamper, with powerful and eingengigen refrain. Everything is just right, singing, song structure, orchestra, melody, tempo, ... Just a perfect song immediately fessetzt in the ear canals and as soon no longer even goes out there.
Edema Ruh (10/10)
The high level quality and the style of EFMB continues here consistently. Not so much that it becomes a more folk-song, but adds a certain something to the song. Starts with masterfully staged keyboards at which Mastermidn Tuomas may let off steam. Tinged pop Leichhardt, Edema Ruh is a eingeängiger melodic metal song, not a "crusher" as Shudder Before The Beautiful or the title track, but still with enough hardness to avoid falling into the pop-rock drawer rutschen.Melodisch and midtempo BNereich settling is Edema Ruh a catchy tune, which is supported again by diamonds Gedsang of frontwoman Jansen. Maybe not live Matrial, yet for private listening perfect.
ALPENGLOW (10/10)
Very similar to Edema Ruh. Not quite as "pop", instead, will be added a dash of folk and a little orchestra. The guitars come back strongly for use. Floor Jansen excels gedsanglich again across the board, jumps from clear to darkly mystical, repekt. The chorus is catchy and cheerful, you feel at resounds in the sunny Alps displaced. THE EYES OF Sharbat GULA (10/10)

EFMB is an incredibly varied and multi-faceted album.
First, the production: First Klase, vocal orchestra, choir and instruments are perfect used and mixed. (Fun Fact: This should what we hear here eigendlich Only the demos, the band took the as received so well that dierekt The album was made of it.) Here you'll find nothing to complain about.
