And when Sims I came out 4 awaited eagerly the first reviews. Opinions are divided as usual here, so I decided the game unceremoniously ordered and try it now are a few days out.
I must admit the change is me already fallen a bit hard, but has convinced me in the end.
What I noticed positive:
- The needs of decline is not as fast or are easier to replenish
- The graphics are much better
- The construction mode is much better, it can now be easily build or move entire room.
- Sims now have to do sport to be slim, otherwise they will be thicker. You can shape your body through great sport and get so muscular / a slim figure.
What I noticed is negative:
- No Add-ons the game is a bit empty. It is sufficient in my opinion, but for a few weeks of gameplay.
- Infants no longer exists
- No open world (at least in the neighborhood but you can walk around without loading screen)
- As always, numerous bugs. Among other things, the speed buttons (1,2,3,0) do not always work and you have this
mouse regulate (Tip: press just once esc or p if you have started the game, then they work again).
Overall, however, an improvement over Sims. 3
Because of the negative points and the hefty price for the basic game (which is quite "empty") -> 3 Points
Update 9/12/2014:
Meanwhile I have changed me completely on the Sims 4 and play the game still enthusiastically. There is plenty to collect (stones, frogs, fish and much more) and to discover (eg hidden places). Even gardening is fun. One can cross the plants and so develop new plants.
Some bugs are, unfortunately, still not gone away (eg go Geschwindigkeitstatsen still not without problems, clearing the dishes are still vague and needs to be taken more often in attack to make it work).
I hope here soon come improvements!
