A nice game ... without Multiple Choice

My family and I are huge fans of the original game Bezzerwizzer. We've now had so often played, that we have all through question cards (Including Expansion) and have already begun to play through it all over again. Now of course, very interested in what has since "Bezzerwizzer deluxe" has to offer. Overall I can say that the game is completely different than the original, but is in principle also have been good.

The principle is exactly the same here. Man pulls categories from a bag, this is graded from 1-4 points, can the opponents wegzwappen a category and also bezzerwizzen as übrlich. The playing field, the characters, the boards, the pieces have the same category held, only in more colorful colors.

The question categories (literature and language, television, film, geography and nature, history, general knowledge, sports, music)

Bezzerwizzer Deluxe is intended for the whole family, which is why the question categories are much easier to answer than the original. On top of that you here at every question three possible answers to choose from has. Approximately 70% of these questions Multiple Choice options make the answer even for the last Depp apparently because it is very common to word spin in style of the first questions at "Millionaire" is. We have the game therefore played, usually without choices and it was still playable even for children. Especially because the issues are already matched to children. For example, literature, film and television categories contained a lot of children's issues.
So that children can play the game, there are for them three extra questions (questions 7-10 on each card). Actually a good idea, but unfortunately we could not tell the difference between playing the children's questions and the normal questions.
Especially good I found here that the questions have also much more recent movies, books music queried etc.. In particular, the literature and the music questions were hard to answer the old Bezzerwizzer yes, if you're not an expert on the topic.

The new categories

The xylophone: There is a certain feeling for music is provided here. In a category is necessary to add a tone of a familiar song, recognize in another to which of the three specified songs are.

The read-aloud categories: There are two categories in which the questioner has read something and the team that answers the question has to remember things. Once there is a little story that contains many details that are very hard to remember. And again it is the typical reading of 10 terms. These categories were particularly amusing because it is incredibly difficult, especially in the history, to remember it all and requires a lot of concentration.

The images-questions: There are several categories in which players the card is presented and have either an hourglass time to look at the image and you will receive a question put or but first get asked the question, and then an hourglass time have the find answer on the screen. Again, it goes back to logical thinking and memory.

Conclusion

Bezzerwizzer Deluxe is a very great game, if you can not directly compare with the original. There are a few changes that I find very good, because it is not a mere general knowledge is requested, but also intellectual abilities. Much reminded here also to the problems affecting IQ test. I believe that this game is here also suitable rather for parties etc. All this is true only if you leave out the multiple choice options on most issues. After all, if it's too easy, it does indeed no longer fun.
